A four-day week — Tuesday is a student holiday. Monday and Wednesday finish Mystery Transcription: nine untitled melodies, a timestamped guess form, and a reveal with prizes for the fastest correct answers, then the C major scale and your first melody.

Thursday brings the A minor scale, the tonic, and the routine for turning in every MuseScore assignment. Friday is form: one piece built in both binary (AB) and ternary (ABA) with copy and paste.

Graded Assignments
- First Melody (Wednesday 11/4) — The class melody from the C major scale, MP3 and PDF in CTLS.
- A Minor Melody (due Thursday 11/5) — Eight measures ending on the tonic, MP3 and PDF in CTLS.
Late work will receive a one-time 20 point deduction.
