Day 43: End-of-Year Word Search
Day 43: End-of-Year Word Search
Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 — Last Day of Class
Today is our last class of the year. We have two end-of-year activities — a word search you tackle with a partner, then a crossword you solve on your own.
Activity 1 — Word Search (Partners)
Pull together every vocabulary word from the year — Scratch blocks, conditionals, the platformer unit, Python, and AI.

- Pair up with one partner.
- Pick up one printed worksheet for your group.
- Find every word from the Word Bank. Words run forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally.
- When your group finds every word, raise your hand. The first groups to finish get a treat.
Activity 2 — Crossword (Solo)
A NYT-style crossword built from this year’s vocabulary. No partner this time — work on your own.

- Pick up your own worksheet — no partners.
- Read the Across and Down clues and fill in every square.
- When every square is correct, raise your hand. Only the first three finishers get a treat, so move carefully but quickly.
Have a great summer!
