Week 8: Film Scoring — Project Week
Unit: Film Scoring
This week is dedicated to finishing the film scoring group project that launched at the end of Week 7. The schedule is unusual because of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade field days. Monday begins with a BrainPOP on Filmmaking, then the rest of the period — and the rest of the week — is a quiet, focused work session on your assigned part of the film. Each group member works on their own part only; Mr. Willingham combines parts 1, 2, 3, etc. into the finished movie. Tuesday and Wednesday are project work days for whichever classes meet around the field days. Thursday has no classes. Final parts are due Friday.

Graded Assignments
- Filmmaking BrainPOP (due Mon 5/11) — Watch the Filmmaking Movie and complete the Filmmaking Quiz in Graded Mode through CTLS.
- Film Scoring Project — Your Part (due Fri 5/15) — Submit your finished GarageBand part to Mr. Willingham on CTLS so he can mix the final movie.
